The IR888 Infrared Imaging Camera is a precision portable
uncooled
industrial infrared thermography camera system based on advanced uncooled
FPA detector. The camera requires no cooler and hence requires no
maintenance.

IR888’s advanced detector offers high resolution real time thermal
images.
The detector has a high thermal sensitivity in a long wavelength between
8-14um.
This innovated camera offers accurate full screen temperature measurement
and
excellent functional features at a reasonable price tag. This unique
combination
of advanced detector with a large 4 inch display screen, full screen
radiometric
capability and PC card digital image storage makes IR860 a compact and
friendly industrial thermal imager for applications such as predictive and
preventive
maintenance, quality control, firefighting, security, medical imaging and R
& D.

By using a special technique developed for varies types of detector, IR888
offers
full screen radiometric capability which allows temperature read out of any
spot
on the infrared image in both live and frozen modes. A full screen movable
cursor,
which is the cross point of one vertically movable line and one horizontally
movable
line, is used for this temperature readout.

Since IR888 does not require any cooler or cooling device which typically
requires
5-8 minutes for each startup, IR888 can be in operational in only few
seconds
after the power is turned on. Additionally, IR888 operates at live video frame
rate of 30Hz making it an excellent tool for real time temperature scan of
a large
area and facility. Image storage and play back are all easy tasks by pushing
their
corresponding buttons.
The camera offers an excellent cost effective alternative for other
sophisticated
and traditionally expensive full screen radiometric video rate thermography
cameras.

Image temperature data can be instantly analyzed on the camera by moving
the
cursor over the image with the user interface buttons. Emissivity can be
easily
adjusted to ensure accurate temperature readings. Images can be stored on the
built-in PCMCIA memory card. Store up to 52 images on a 32 Mbytes PC card
or hundreds or thousands on optional high-density cards.

Software for the IR888 Windows 95/98/NT/2000 based image post analysis
and reporting software provides all of the tools you need to archive, organize
and
analyze your infrared images. Compare "before" and "after"
images to ensure the
problem has been fixed.
